WOCN Inc. staff and consultants are thrilled to announce our upcoming Webinar, “Cultural Inclusion & LGBT People of Color Survivors.” Through this webinar, Administrators will gain practical strategies for furthering services, innovation, and impact for LGBT populations.

This webinar will be facilitated by Gabby Santos, Director of LGBT Health Services at In Our Own Voices, Inc. (IOOV), whose mission is to “work for and ensure the physical, mental, spiritual, political, cultural, and economic growth of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender People of Color communities (LGBT POC).”

Meeting Goals

• To address the unique barriers that exist for historically marginalized communities, including LGBT POC;
• To discuss the importance of inclusive services and outreach and its impact on People of Color and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender communities.
• Compel accountability to implementing change as an ongoing process by providing promising practices, including community engagement strategies that are based on safety, cultural inclusion, and transformation.
