3:20-4:50 Interventions with Young Children and Non-abusing Caregivers in the Context of Domestic Violence

This workshop will discuss the goals and techniques to facilitate healing of children under age 6 and their caregivers who have been traumatized by domestic and sexual violence.  Videotaped interactions will be used to illustrate the various methods discussed in this workshop, and allow participants an increased understanding of the experience, thoughts and feelings of both the child and the caregiver.
