Join ALSO on Saturday, May 24th, 2025, for our 30th Annual Walk for Peace – a celebration of community, unity, and the shared vision of Safe Homes, Safe Streets.
This year’s theme — One Humboldt Park. One Chicago. — calls on us to stand together as one city and one neighborhood to promote peace. We are honored to partner with Jessie Fuentes and Uniting Humboldt Park.
The Walk for Peace event will take place from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Below is our itinerary:
Guests arrive at 12:30 to register for the event onsite.
Remarks begin at 1:00 pm
The walk kicks off at 1:30 pm
Walk Route 40 minutes, gathering at the corner of Division / California.
Division/California to Kedzie Ave.
Kedzie Ave. to North Ave.
North Ave. to Humboldt Blvd. (cross the street on Humboldt Blvd to get onto the park pathway).
Ending at the Humboldt Park Boathouse for the cookout celebration.
