2019 Consolidated Youth and Engaging Men Spring Institute: Building Effective Collaborations with Partners and Communities

Institute Overview:
This Institute will promote and enhance the success of your Consolidated Youth and Engaging Men project with plenaries that reflect in-depth and hands-on skills building and knowledge sharing to build effective collaboration amongst OVW, TA providers, grantees, and youth leaders. The third day of the institute will include 3 distinct day-long workshops to choose from: Social and Emotional Learning Workshop, Combating Cyber Abuse through Collaboration, and Building Relationships with In-Risk Youth. Similar to past institutes, we will continue to prioritize and uplift youth and grantee voices, while focusing on applied learning and opportunities to network and build community among and between grantees.

The full 3-day Institute begins Tuesday, May 21 at 8:00 am and concludes Thursday, May 23, at 3:00 pm. Please plan on being in attendance for the entirety of the Institute. If you must leave early, you will need to receive advance approval from your OVW grants program specialist.
