The ALSO Board, staff and community sincerely thank all who attended and contributed to a successful Benefit for Peace! The event, which took place on Wednesday, October 18, represents our highest tickets sales and largest contributions from raffle in the event’s history. 

Our supporters are passionate individuals and companies who believe in our mission to end violence in the homes and streets of communities nationwide. Your contributions, in the form of donations, in-kind gifts, event tickets, and silent auction and raffle participation are invaluable to maintaining and growing programming for youth on Chicago’s Northwest side.

In addition, thank you for joining ALSO in honoring this year’s Nancy Olivi Community Ally Award Recipient, Jesus Perez, whose unparalleled commitment to violence prevention and partnership has improved our organization’s work, our community, and opportunities for our young people.

We also want to thank Dorothy Brown, Clerk of the Cook County Court, for her advocacy partnership and remarks on record expungement in Cook County. 

Each Fall, we are thankful for our Benefit for Peace as an opportunity to engage with you and celebrate efforts to end violence in Chicago and nationwide.
