ALSO believes violence affects all of us – no one is free from the threat or act of violence until we all are free from the threat or act of violence. Through direct and indirect intervention and prevention strategies, ALSO aims to strengthen communities and protect individuals and families from violence.

ALSO’s direct service programs offer tailored solutions to Chicago’s northwest side, including the Hermosa, Logan Square, Humboldt Park and West Town neighbors. Through an innovative and community-centric approach, these direct services, including street violence intervention, re-entry services and youth employment, work to reduce street and intimate-partner violence.
