What do a “Cold Case Sex Crimes Team” in Phoenix, Arizona, a “Domestic Violence Fatality Review Commission” in Montana, and “Services Empowering the Rights of Victims” in New Jersey all have in common? Each is an effort funded by the S.T.O.P. Formula Grants Program, Office on Violence Against Women, U.S. Department of Justice.

S.T.O.P. In Action: Success Stories from the S.T.O.P. Formula Grants Program reflects on these three efforts as well as those in Colorado, Michigan, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, and Oregon. Made possible by S.T.O.P. grants, these efforts are sustained by dedicated men and women at the local and state levels who have made it their life’s work to end these forms of violence in their communities.
